The objective of the Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management qualification is to provide learners with the skills and understanding in human resource management (HRM) that align with good strategic decision-making to maintain an organisation’s competitive advantage.

Learners acquire knowledge through an integrated approach of theory in human resource management and practice using real-time activities. Successful completion of this qualification will develop learners’ strategic human resource management and leadership skills and their ability to focus on the requirements of implementing an organisation’s strategy.

The Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management qualification enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or to work toward a relevant Master’s programme with advanced standing.

STAGE TWO: MA HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT TOP-UP – 4 – 6 MONTHS (In partnership with London Graduate School, UK) awarded by University of Buckingham or University of Gloucestershire via IDM.

Achieving the Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource qualification enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their further study. As this qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual, learners are eligible to progress to Master’s top-up programmes in the UK and overseas with advanced standing.

MODULES

Business Research Methods

The goal of this unit is to help learners improve their research skills, which include writing research proposals, conducting literature reviews, referencing, collecting data, conducting interviews and surveys, designing questionnaires, statistical analysis using SPSS, qualitative data, and concluding the research findings.

Engagement Of Employees and Organisational Learning

The purpose of this course is to help learners have a better knowledge of current challenges in employee engagement, organisational learning, people management, and development. The aim and objectives of human resource management, as well as the creation and implementation of HR action plan for boosting employee engagement and organisational success, will be examined and critically evaluated by learners.

Global Resourcing, Talent and Reward Management

The purpose of this course is to improve learners’ understanding of resourcing, global talent management, performance, and reward management in corporate settings. Learners will get a theoretical and practical grasp of global personnel management, including recruiting, selection, employee retention, and dismissal, as well as associated topics. In addition, the students will study several methods to successfully reward and perform management in a worldwide setting.

Leadership Development and Performance Management

This unit seeks to improve the knowledge and abilities of learners in strategic leadership and management. The importance of leadership and management in promoting teamwork, effective communication, and organisational performance will also be discussed. The structure of the unit reflects the nature of the strategic responsibilities and competencies.

Managing Employment Relations and Employment Law

The goal of this lesson is for learners to have a better grasp of the essential ideas that drive Managing Employment Relations. The students will get a better grasp of employee relations and employment law, as well as their purpose, with a particular focus on recruiting and selection regulations, as well as the employment protection offered for various types of businesses.

Strategic Human Resource Management

This unit aims to help learners understand how successful strategic human resource management contributes to the accomplishment of corporate goals in a variety of contexts.
The importance of strategic human resource management to competitive advantage and corporate success is considered.

TOP-UP (UNIVERSITY) PROGRESSION

Students can pursue a Master’s degree programme in partnership with London Graduate School, UK after completing this course. The top-up programme is available both online and on campus. The final 60 credits of the top-up are made up of either a dissertation or a dissertation and one module.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For entry onto the Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management, learners must possess:

An honours degree in a related subject or a UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification

Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)

Learners must be 21 years old or older at the beginning of the course

English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency.
