FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PARTNERS US FIRM ON CLOUD TECHNOLOGY
Afri-Tech United, a US-based tech consulting firm, and the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation have signed a contract. The partnership intends to lead the nation’s revolutionary cloud migration programme. This alliance was announced in a statement by Jacob Uwah, the lead partner of Afri-Tech United and a Nigerian IT specialist residing in the US. He emphasised that the strategic partnership was focused on creating a Master Cloud Platform, which would enable Nigeria to advance into a higher level of cyber sophistication and global technology leadership.
According to Uwah, the Afri-Tech United team and Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Uche Nnaji, spent several months discussing the best course of action for Nigeria’s revolutionary technology revolution. He mentioned that the collaboration resulted in the creation of the Master Cloud Platform’s architecture. “This project is paving the way for a new era of cyber excellence and is a testament to the power of collaboration,” the speaker stated.
“With highly sought-after strategic partnerships, this initiative aims to modernise our infrastructure, optimise the public and private sectors, and revitalise many of our traditional revenue-generating ventures,” Nnaji said. The minister went on to say that the current administration of President Bola Tinubu’s objective of creating 2 million tech employment annually was at the heart of the Afri-Tech cooperation. Nnaji noted, “The Master Cloud Platform also lays the foundation for Afri-Tech United’s forthcoming Innovation Centre development.
Beyond Nigeria’s current technological hubs, the vision aims to take use of hyper-scale partnerships to provide Nigerian engineers access to robots, AI, and machine learning that has never been available in the nation before. Nigeria’s future is what we’re investing in, not just technology. Nigeria is prepared to lead the global cyber renaissance rather than merely partake in it, as we are prepared to demonstrate to the world.Driven by a goal of unity and empowerment, Afri-Tech United, headquartered in Seattle, WA, is at the forefront of African innovation and advancement.
